I am writing this thought with a heavy heart. Indra mama made the biggest impact on my student life in England between 1979 and 1983. During those years, whenever I returned from my summer holidays to Sri lanka, Indra mama would often pick me up from the airport and make me rest a couple of days prior to my return to Leeds where I was a student. Upon my graduation I was invited by Indra mama to stay in their house and look for a job. I very much appreciated his offer and was well taken care of by Malar Aunty and Indra mama for the entire summer of 1982. They even helped me to get part time employment while helping me out with my Resume and cover letters. During that time I was so comfortable and I felt welcoming. I remember watching the 1982 world cup football games and cricket highlights with Indra mama. Indra mama was a sweet gentleman, with extra ordinary manners. He was very kind and was a lavish spender. He loved to enjoy life and was very sociable. He was genuine and often too caring. My family loved him so much. Indra mama, I love you and may you rest in peace with the Angels and you have earned it. Much love to Malar Aunty, Manohari and family, Dathan (Vamadeva Siddarthan)
