Dear Aunt Malar, Munohari, Aftab, Zakir and Danesh,
 
Please accept my sincere condolences at the passing of Uncle Indran. A generation that had provided Jaffna with poise and culture has moved on. I would visit the island of Velanai near Jaffna twice an year and would always see the small reconstructed house that he had built there, hoping one day perhaps to use it as a winter get away.
 
May Uncle Indran soon attain the supreme bliss of Moksha. May the memory of him be a blessing to each of you.
